England’s dominance of European rugby continued with a seventh consecutive 6 Nations title following a 23-6 win over Ireland at Esher. They were pushed all the way by a gutsy effort from the Irish with the game tied 6-6 at halftime but two tries late in the second half was enough to secure another title.

The women’s rugby sides of Italy and Scotland are both vying to avoid the Wooden Spoon as they go into the final clash of the tournament this Sunday seeking a first win.
Both Wales and France have made changes for their final women’s rugby 6 Nations clash of the year on Sunday at Pandy Park (14.00 KO). There are two changes in the pack for Wales while France have brought in some younger players with the likes of Marjorie Mayans getting a run at centre in place of the vastly experienced Sandrine Agricole.

England and Ireland have named their sides for Saturday's women's 6 Nations final game at Esher (KO 2pm) In the deciding game of this year's 6 Nations England have brought in Kat Merchant (pictured) and Kim Oliver to their backline while Ireland have restored Gillian Bourke to the number 2 shirt. For England, there are no changes up front with Oliver and Merchant (pictured) come in to start in two personnel switches in the backs while Emily Scarratt moves to fullback and Natahsa Hunt moves to scrum-half. England will secure a Grand Slam with a win on Saturday while Ireland are targeting their first ever Triple Crown while they could still win the title if they defeat England and score 24 points or more.Merchant, who has scored 37 tries in 43 appearances for England takes over on the wing in place of Micheala Staniford while Oliver steps into the centre for Scarratt.

England have named their women's 7s squad to travel to Hong Kong to compete in the second IRB Women’s Sevens Challenge Cup from March 23-24.
Defending champions Canada have named their squad for the upcoming Hong Kong 7s. Head coach John Tait has named an experienced side who will go into the tournament as favourites after a superb 12 months since their last Hong Kong outing and having won five major tournaments consecutively in recent months.
