Queensland Red lifted Australia’s inaugural National Women’s Rugby Sevens Championship, following a 31-0 win over Sydney White in the Cup final.
England have named their women’s rugby squad to compete in next month’s FIRA-AER European Cup in Italy. With the tournament clashing with the London Sevens and England deciding to give a number of new players their debuts – the squad mixes experience with youth.

Richmond secured their third consecutive English women's rugby Premiership title at the weekend despite losing just their second game of the season to Lichfield. Saracens were unable to capitalise on the league-leaders' loss, losing themselves at DMP Sharks meaning the title stayed in west-London once again this year.
