Scotland’s new head coach Gary Parker has chosen his 6 Nations squad for the 2010 competition. Parker has promoted Edinburgh University student Celia Hawthorn (pictured) to the 26-strong squad and has welcomed back Susie Brown, the powerful Richmond No 8, who returns from injury. Scotland’s most capped international Donna Kennedy is also included.

Canada women's rugby head coach Johnathon Long has named an experienced squad to take on the USA women's side in a pair of tests in Lakeland, Florida on January 12 and 16th in the new Atlantic Cup competition. The tour will also feature Canada's U20 women taking on their US counterparts on the 16th.

USA women's rugby captain Ashley English reflects on a season of solid progress for her team where they finished as Nations Cup runners up. The USA will play Canada twice in January as they build up to the World Cup.
