The first game takes place this Saturday and the South Africans will be looking to build on their recent two test series win over Kazakstan.
In those two games played recently in Dubai, the South Africans, captained by Mandissa Williams(pictured)impressed with a 22-17 win in the first test and a 38-0 win in the second test over a team also bound for the World Cup in August.
As well as the two Scotland test, on June 5 and 12, the South African national squad will get together twice more for camps before they leave for London.
Head coach, Denver Wannies said: We dont have the luxury of playing regular international matches like our European or American counterparts, and the double international series were therefore designed to give our women chance to play full test matches before the World Cup."
He added: We have spent much of our time on conditioning and during the next phase we will focus more on the tactical detail and match planning. I am however very satisfied with the preparation so far and I am looking forward to another good performance in the series against Scotland
The team will stay at the University of Edinburgh during their two week visit to Scotland.
The Scots for their part will view a good series over a physical South African team as excellent preparation themselves for the World Cup. Scotland had a mixed 6 Nations campaign but finished ahead of Italy and Wales and coach Gary Parker blooded a host of inexperienced players throughout the competition.
