Movember ladies team launched
The motivational speakers business Inspiring Women, run by ex-England captain Catherine Spencer, is helping to raise awareness and funds for men’s health charity Movember, by supporting the cause’s invitation teams competing in this month’s Amsterdam 7s rugby tournament.

Alongside the Mo Bro Veterans – comprising male former international players and all-round rugby legends – the Mo Sistas will also be taking part in the famous annual event for the first time. The team is being coached by former England women’s international Kim Oliver and the line-up includes former England women’s 7s captain Abi Chamberlain(pictured),England international Sally Tuson and Dutch national team captain Petra Zwart.
The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to helping men to live happier, healthier and longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the Movember movement, raising over £400million and funding more 1,000 projects focusing on raising awareness of prostate and testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity. Supporters of the charity are known as Mo Bros and Mo Sistas.
Inspiring Women is a speaker, mentor and leadership development agency, founded and run by former England women’s rugby captain, Catherine Spencer.
“I’m really pleased to be able to support the Movember charity through our partnership with the Mo Bro Veterans and Mo Sistas invitation rugby teams,” Catherine said. “The sport of rugby in general has always provided huge support to a number of charities and I know it will continue to do so. It is very important that Inspiring Women shares these values by supporting and raising awareness for worthy causes. So to see some truly inspiring women from the sport taking part in Amsterdam 7s this year is really exciting.”
The Amsterdam 7s Rugby Tournament takes place from May 27 to 29.
