Monaco planning European debut
Monaco Rugby have revealed that they will make their European Sevens debut later this year, becoming the 142nd country to play international women’s sevens rugby.

Rugby Europe are planning a full suite of European Sevens tournaments for later this year and, while formal announcements have yet to be made, Rugby Monaco have revealed that they will be making their international debut in the European Conference, which will be played in Belgrade.
A graphic posted on the federation’s Facebook page reveals that the Conference will be a 10-team competition, with Israel and Austria – relegated in 2019 - the top seeds.
The teams playing in the top two tiers – the Grand Prix and the Trophy – have yet to be revealed, but the line-up for the conference suggests that Switzerland, Slovenia and Slovakia may be missing this year.
