Last chance to impress for top USA players

The competition, held in Minnesota, will feature eight women's All-Star teams and a is highest-level domestic competition available for the athletes competing for a World Cup spot.

The USA are due to play Canada twice in June for their final preparation before heading to London, so this weekend's competition will prove hugely important for those looking to make the cut. The final World Cup squads must be submitted to the IRB in July, so USA coaches will have plenty of time to decide which players have impressed most in the coming weeks.

This event will showcase the finest womens rugby in the country, said Alex Williams, USA Rugby Womens High Performance Manager.

The best athletes from each territory, including all of the Eagles in the current World Cup pool, will be showcasing their talents. The TU (Territorial Union) teams have had time together in camps and warm-up matches and all teams should be firing on all cylinders.

Al of this weekend's matches f will be available live via U-Stream. To watch these matches, please visit to www.ustream.tv/usarugby on Friday and Sunday when they will be streamed live.
