USA bounced back from an opening day defeat to Canada to record an excellent win over South Africa.

Meya Bizer, who looks a real star for the future, opened the scoring for USA with a penalty and soon after Elizabeth Cairns crashed over with the convertion making it an early 10-0 lead.

Hope Rogers then cut through a fine line to add a second try and USA then took advantage of a yellow card for a deliberate knock on to score through Stephanie Browne and take a 24-0 lead at halftime.

South Africa scored right after the break to reduce the gap but it was soon one way traffic once again.

Bizer scored a try herself and converted before Cassidy Meyers came off the bench to touch down and another score before the whistle made it a big win for USA.
