3D coverage for England women

The game, on November 9, takes place at Twickenham with a kick off of 5.05pm. There will be free entry to the stadium following the conclusion of England’s men’s match. On the 13th, England will cross the road to take on Canada at the Twickenham Stoop.

Gus Williamson, executive producer of rugby union at Sky said: “We are thrilled to be giving the women’s international fixture the 3D treatment. It’s going to be a fantastic addition to the Autumn International line-up on Sky Sports in November and we’re looking forward to watching the team on their journey to the World Cup next year.

“Our involvement in women’s rugby allows us to support their achievements and it’s become a valued part of our rugby offering and our year-round coverage of women’s sports.”

England go into the game on the back of a tough season which saw them finish third at the 6 Nations and suffer a three test series whitewash against New Zealand.

England last played France in the 2013 Six Nations and a young, developing side were on the wrong end of a 30-20 defeat. The loss also marked England’s first ever defeat at Twickenham Stadium.

Canada too have enjoyed good wins over England this year, defeating another young England side in two games in this summer’s Nations Cup in America. The second victory came in the final which Canada clinched 27-13.
