Lydia Wee, captain of the White Foxes was jubilant post match and said??? A thrilled Belait Pythons Women??s coach remarked, "The potential of Woman's rugby in Brunei has finally been realized by this game. The enthusiasm by all those taking part has shown that there is a need for woman's rugby in Brunei. Rugby is about teamwork and fun and the mix of Bruneian and expat women working hard in training and enjoying the game is reflective of the best of Brunei.
