The Rugby Rocks festival, at Richmond RFC, has grown extremely fast in the two years since it launched, and in June 2011 it welcomed more than 140 sports teams around 2,000 players alone taking part in rugby tens, touch rugby and netball as well as sevens.
The music festival line-up has included Feeder, The Pigeon Detectives, The Parlotones, Just Jack, and Xfms Eddy Temple-Morris over the past two summers.
This year once again were offering an Elite and an Open womens competition.
The elite competition is the best of the best in the womens game. Last years final saw Wooden Spoons triumph over England Women in the final with the remainder of the teams in the groups being top class Club sides.
The Women's Open is a competitive tournament which in 2011 featured the likes of The Pirates and Wasps Ladies. This tournament will suit any side who want to challenge themselves against club and university sides.
