The camp, held at Kibbutz, Yizrael aimed at developing talent ahead of this summers Fira 7s championship in which Isreal will compete this year.
Jo Yapp, a veteran of three World Cups made the trip after her husband had made contact, through his coaching job, with officials in Israel who explained their aims for the national womens programme.
She said: Alan had spent some time out there and realised they were keen to promote their womens set-up so we both went out there in December and ran a camp with a squad of players. It was a brilliant experience and they were thoroughly professional in their approach.
"They find it difficult to get games and are looking for teams to go and play them and I would urge any teams looking for an unusual tour venue to think about it!
Yapp oversaw a large group of players who it is hoped will form the basis of the national 7s squad in the year ahead.
The standard was a mixture as they are still trying to build their squad depth. They just have three senior clubs and they are focusing predominantly on the 7s game looking ahead to the Olympics.
