Ukraine win European Trophy
Ukraine have won the second round of the European Trophy in Budapest, and with it the 2021 title.

Czechia had wonthe first round in Zagreb, but Ukraine won the overall time based on results over the two tournaments.
The second round – which also included Norway and Denmark, who had been unable to take part in Zagreb tournament – proved to be more competitive than the first, with both Ukraine and Czechia losing pool games which meant that the two pools were won by Finland and Sweden.
However, the finalists made up for their pool game errors with decisive semi-final wins before Ukraine avenged their loss in Zagreb with a 14-5 win against the Czechs.
Sweden took third overall with a second third place play-off win against Finland, who ended fourth.
It if unclear at present whether or not any teams will be promoted or relegated from the Trophy for 2022.
