Scrumqueens.com will once again proud to partner Summer Social as we have done since 2010.
The Women’s 7s tournaments – Open and Social – are already attracting an international flavour, with a Scottish Select already entered and Tribe 7s jetting in all the way from Melbourne. The Wooden Spoon will once again be entering our Open and will be among the favourites to claim the title at this year’s competition!
It also promises to be another tasty domestic encounter as we welcome Saracens, fresh after their Premiership triumph; who return to the home of top of the table rivals Richmond.
The women's event is experiencing a higher level of interest this year, which organisers are attributing in part to the success of the newly crowned World Champions, England. Summer Social isn’t all about Elite performance as the event caters for players at every level and we encourage any team, no matter what level to get involved in a day of sport and a night of partying!
The ‘Social’ element of the event promises to be bigger than ever before – including the festival music arena, a roller disco, fun fair and festival bars!
If you fancy a break from rugby, you could even enter a Dodgeball team!!
