NZ’s top players honoured
Kelly Brazier, Portia Woodman and Selicia Winiata were the big winners at the 2013 Steinlager Rugby Awards - New Zealand's major end of season awards.

In just her first year in rugby, New Zealand Women’s Sevens star Portia Woodman(pictured)won the Women's Sevens Player of the Year title.
Woodman was the IRB Player of the Tournament at the World Cup in Moscow and also won her first caps for the Black Ferns in this summer's test series with England. She was a star player on this season's debut World Sevens Series, helping her side lift their first title and the World Cup.
Kelly Brazier, after another standout season, was awarded the overall Women's Player of the Year. Brazier played a lead role in New Zealand's three-test clean sweep of England this summer, while she was also a star on the World Sevens Series circuit this season. Both Brazier and Woodman missed the opening leg this year in Dubai through injury, where New Zealand finished runners-up.
Selica Winiata won the Sky Television Fans Try of the Year. The online poll saw the Black Fern full back's last minute length-of-the-fieldmatch-winning tryagainst England be the popular choice of fans, edging out Beauden Barrett’s try against France.
